As a Ministry of Women’s Affairs officer, Trevor works closely with communities and he has
seen the impact of SWRGN’s interventions firsthand.
“They helped me with my poultry project,” he says. “I bought 200 layer chickens, and even
though some died, I now have 140. I collect 90–120 eggs a day.”
Transporting eggs and feed between Ward 11 and Esigodini remains a major challenge, but
Trevor remains committed.
Working with Inkanyezi has made it easier to mobilise communities for training. Their joint
efforts have led to reduced GBV cases, lower drug abuse rates, and stronger family relation
ships.
“The partnership continues to uplift our ward and support sustainable development.”
“Youth are learning to be self-sufficient.”
